I still get telephone calls, chat messages, email and help desk ticket asking me about data entry jobs. So I thought I will make a final post on it.
I searched for data entry jobs on Google and the site that was on top as no #1 position has an article type of write up about data entry jobs. It speaks about accuracy in their services. And on the left menu I saw:
“Top Vaccancies” - there is a spelling mistake right here.
Ok forget about it, I went hunting for what they have to offer. I came up with nothing.
The second item on their left menu is: Content Writer
I thought this is good - at least they are asking us to write articles and get paid.

You have to pay Rs. 2000 to register. Then you write 100 articles for nothing. Yes believe it or not they won’t pay you a paisa for these 100 articles. Your account will be ccanceled if you do not continue with them.
If you continue to write article 101 you get rupees 20 that is about half a dollar. This is the rate for articles 101 to 200. Then for 201 to 300 you will get rupees 30 and so on until you reach rupees 50 per article.
My question to you is would anybody who is not absolutely crazy pay someone about $50, write 100 articles for $0 and then get $0.50 per article and be happy with the earnings? So you want to quit your day job, hope to work from home and get rich this way?
If you are able to write 100 articles wouldn’t you have an authority site for yourself? Such sites help you earn a lot more than this. Even if you do not earn in any other way, you can sell that blog for thousands of dollars, provided you have put in the initial work in selecting your blog topic.
In one of the data entry job it was mentioned that all you have to do is to fill in a form with a few words, enter a url and you are done. On further investigation it turned out that they are asking their customers to promote affiliate products through Google AdWords.
That is you spend money to advertise through Google and sell an affiliate product to earn money. Affiliate promotion involves heling someone else sell their product. You get a commission if you help that person sell the product. Suppose the affiliate commission is $50 and you are able to spend $30 on advertising and earn the commission, you have earned $20. But to be able to do this you need a very good knowledge of how to advertise through Google. Unless you are an expert in Google AdWords this can lead you to a loss of thousands of dollars. The data entry job offerers are not gonig to tell you anything about that. They have got your registration money and they are not bothered whether you earn money or lose money by selling others products.
Whatever way you want to earn online is your decision. But do not pay for anything without understanding what you are getting yourself into.
When someone says you will get $100 to read an email, wait for a minute and think about it. Does it make good business sense? Would you do such a thing if you had the money?
There are 1000s of scam sites out there. The only thing they do well is to promote themselves and print a rosy picture for you. They fool you by making you believe you can become rich just by giving them money. The people who take your money will definitely become rich. You will definitely lose the money you pay them as registration fee.
If you want to work from home, start learning the tricks of the trade. There are a lot of free materials available online. Use them to learn how to earn online. You will NEVER become rich overnight especially through the stupid act of paying someone for a data entry job.
With the advancement in technology there is hardly any need for people who can mechanically type sentences to be put online.
Today’s data entry jobs are different. They require your human input. They want you to type sentences in response to others sentences. They want you to write meaningful sentences as a human being.
